Let me introduce my assistant...

This is my assistant, her name is Twinkle (aka Ninja Kitty), she is just over a year, we adopted her from a shelter that she had spent 7 months out of her 1st year at.
As you can see she needs to be right in the action. Anytime that I open up my bead boxes, she is right there, ready to work.
Generally trying to steal something, not really assisting me. She loves to play with the beads and wire, when I am wrapping the beads. I have a grated cart that has all of my supplies in it. She steals stuff out of there, as well as pulling the wire through sides of the cart.

She is lucky she is so cute! At least we think so, her sister Ravie, gravely disagrees...lol We also adopted Ravie at the same time. She tolerates Ninja Kitty most days, but for only so long.
The one thing I can say about Twinkle is she makes things more interesting. Not that I need her help for that when I making jewelry, but what are you going to do???? She is one of the best kitties I could ever ask for, Ravie is the other greatest kitty ever.

Thank you for reading.

Happy Monday

Well it is Monday and I woke up to snow. Took Tasha to pre-school and tried to take Alex to SPSCC - then found out there was no school. SO I took him home and went to work - unhappily. I want a snow day....

Any who I felt pretty creative last night - for the first time in a few weeks. So I made about 4 or 5 necklaces and a pair of earrings. I got them photographed. Now I need to edit them and get them post in my store. I also got new business cards for the purpose of putting my jewelry on them. So I got that all organized as well. Now for my first sale to come...PLEASE come...lol

Friday I got my haircut by a new stylist, we were talking and she told me to bring in my portfolio of jewelry and show the owner. She is really positive that Jenn (the owner) would let me put up a small display. That is really exciting. So my next appointment is March. So I need to get all of my pics printed and organized and build up an inventory.

Also, my chiro said that I could put up a display in her office (no charge) as well. How kewl is that??? Again, I need to build up my inventory.

Thankfully, I am feeling inspired lately. Well back to work.

Arts of Rhode Island (RI) and Etsy Rain

The Arts of RI and Etsy Rain are cross promoting eachother's teams. This is a really exciting opportunity for both teams. Not only are our teams taking the time to check out each others members, but it is a chance for someone other then our friends and families to promote our craft.

Krystan is one of the members of Arts of RI. She is a graphic designer and button maker with a wonderful sense of humor. She has been selling on Etsy since the summer of 07 and has done quite well for her self with over 300 sales to date.
She has wonderful amount of feedback as well. One of her customers said, "Thank you Krystan! All your designs were beautiful and you made the perfect logo to brand my business. You are very talented and creative! You will have my business again in the future and will be highly recommended."

Krystan has many items in her store from cards, buttons, Etsy banners and avatars, stickers/labels and many other options.

She also runs a second store on Etsy. Peach Bubbles is vintage supply store, this store has a variety of items as well. She also has another website to check out http://www.ksantagata.com/index.htm. As you can tell this very crafty and talented gal is very busy as well.

I am thrilled that our Etsy Street teams decided to do cross promote of each other. It gave me a chance to check our Krystan's stores and to find yet another very talented Estian! I hope you have as much fun in her stores as I did.
